Why Gilbertsville

The place
your team will
talk about for years.

Most corporate off-sites are forgettable by design. Same hotel block, same catered lunch, same slides. Gilbertsville is different in every way that matters: your team sleeps on-site in private suites, eats food worth eating, and wakes up somewhere that reminds them that work can feel like something again.

One group at a time. No competing events. No strangers at breakfast. Just your people, your agenda, and 125 acres of upstate New York to do whatever you came here to do.

Not a hotel. Not a conference center. A living estate that changes how people feel — and what they're capable of.

Private king suites, chef-prepared farm-to-table meals, activities, a dedicated retreat coordinator, and a full guest services team. One rate, no surprises, no logistics headache.

What Your Team Gets Out of This

Designed to
move something.

Once you book, you're invited to a private tasting at the Farmhouse — a one-on-one culinary collaboration with our chef to build your menu from the ground up.

Leadership Clarity

Space from the day-to-day creates room for the kind of thinking that actually changes direction. Structured workshops or free time — both work when the environment is right.

Team Cohesion That Lasts

Shared meals, late-night bonfires, and goat yoga aren't just activities, they're the moments people still reference a year later. The experiences here are memorable by design.

Strategic Alignment

Removing distractions removes friction. Focused agenda time in the barn, then open evenings by the fire — this rhythm produces better decisions than full-day conference sessions.

Genuine Renewal

Burnout is real. The estate's farm activities, beach, hiking, and open air aren't luxuries — they're ROI. Teams that rest together work better together.

An Experience They'll Compete For

Companies that bring their teams here report it becoming a coveted internal event. High-performers want to attend. It signals investment in your people.

Common Questions

Things people
usually ask.

How far in advance do we need to book?

Most corporate groups book 3–6 months in advance. Popular fall dates (September–November) go quickly. We recommend reaching out as soon as you have a target window — we'll hold tentative dates while you finalize internally.

Is pricing per-person or a flat rate?

All-inclusive pricing is customized based on team size, stay length, and programming. We don't publish rates online because each retreat is built differently — reach out and we'll send a detailed proposal within 24 hours.

Can we bring our own facilitators or speakers?

Removing distractions removes friAbsolutely. Many groups bring their own facilitators, executive coaches, or keynote speakers. We provide the space, AV, and logistics support — your agenda runs exactly as you've planned it.
ction. Focused agenda time in the barn, then open evenings by the fire — this rhythm produces better decisions than full-day conference sessions.

What's the best way to get from NYC?

Most teams drive (3.5 hours) or charter a bus. We work with a trusted shuttle partner who specializes in group corporate transfers from Manhattan, Brooklyn, and NJ. We're happy to coordinate transportation as part of your package.

Can we mix lodging types for different team members?

Yes. Many groups mix the Farmhouse Inn with Victoria Cabins or Glamping Suites — it adds variety and lets team members choose their style. We'll help allocate rooms based on your team's preferences.

Is Wi-Fi available throughout the estate?

Yes. Wi-Fi is available throughout the estate, including the main event spaces. Many groups intentionally limit connectivity during daytime sessions — we can support either approach.

Can spouses or partners attend?

Yes. Our standard capacity is 41 team members, but groups can bring spouses or partners to expand to up to 82 guests total. This works especially well for annual celebration retreats or company milestone events.

What dietary restrictions can you accommodate?

All dietary needs — vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, kosher, and custom allergies — are accommodated. Share your team's needs during the planning process and our chefs will build around them.

Let's build something
worth coming back for.

Tell us your team size, your dates, and what you're trying to accomplish. We'll send a custom proposal within 24 hours. Most groups are booked within a week of their first conversation.
