What This Actually Is

Self-care is better with a baby goat. We can prove it.

A long weekend on 125 acres in upstate New York. Fresh air, good food, zero responsibilities—and a herd of goats that fully expect you to become part of their social circle.

You’ll spend your days caring for them, walking the property, and accidentally forming emotional attachments to animals you just met. It happens fast. We don’t ask questions.

This is for people who like being outside, being around animals, and doing something a little different with their weekend, without needing it to feel like a wellness retreat.

Mornings ease in. Afternoons wander. Evenings end by the fire; with goats nearby, obviously.

And somewhere between feeding, laughing, and doing absolutely nothing productive, you’ll feel it:

You’ve officially relaxed.

Here's exactly what having a baby goat for a weekend looks like.

Friday afternoon, you visit the flower-petaled nursery in our barn and choose your baby goat or yearling goat. From that moment until Sunday, they're yours. Named, bonded, and completely obsessed with you. Yearling parents, prepare to giggle at your goat's rambunctious nature. Enjoy a cocktail and mingle with all of your new goat co-parents.

Meet & Choose Your Baby

The Goat Experience

01

Morning and evening bottle-feedings each day. Evening storytime — yes, in the lounge, yes, with your baby goat in tow. There is no explaining how much you will love this until it happens to you. Yearling parents, learn to care for your goat and learn about all the daily do-ings in the barn.

Bottle-Feed & Cuddle Time

02

Saturday morning, the yoga mats come out. Your baby goat climbs on your back mid-pose. You try to hold it together. You don't. Nobody does. It's the best part of the whole weekend. All parents participate together in this silly, cuddly class.

Baby Goat Yoga

03

Saturday afternoon, baby carriers come out and the whole group walks the woods together: each with their goat. It sounds completely unhinged. It is completely unhinged. You will talk about it for years.

Goat Family Walk

04

A styled "Baby & Me" photo session with your goat. The photos are ridiculous. The photos are incredible. These are going on your wall whether you plan for it or not. Yearling parents enjoy group polaroid selfie sessions with your goats.

Newborn Photo Session & Yearling Group Session

05

You return them to the nursery after brunch. Somehow, in 48 hours, you have become emotionally invested in a tiny goat. You leave with a tote bag, your memories, and a new identity as a goat parent.

Sunday Goodbyes

06

Every moment is intentional. Nothing is rushed.

Three days designed to make you forget what stress feels like.
